Competition Terms & Conditions

Take part in the Mesmerize Lighting competition! Read these Terms & Conditions to understand eligibility, prizes, and how to enter.

1. Eligibility

The competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 or older. Employees of Mesmerize Lighting and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2. Competition Period

The competition starts immediately and closes on Friday, 26 September 2025 at 23:59 (midnight). Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

3. Entry Rules

  • Only one entry per person is allowed.

  • Duplicate or incomplete entries will be disqualified.

  • Entries must include all required personal information to be valid.

4. Winner Selection

  • Three winners will be selected.

  • Winners will be determined based on the closest score prediction.

  • In the event of a tie, a random draw will determine the winner.

  • The decisions of Mesmerize Lighting are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Prizes

  • Each winner can win a prize worth R1000, which may include:

    • Mesmerize Lighting products such as strip lights and/or emergency bulbs

    • Exclusive merchandise

  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • If any Mesmerize Lighting product received is defective, it may be replaced at the discretion of Mesmerize Lighting.

  • Mesmerize Lighting is not responsible for damage, loss, or injuries associated with the use, shipment, or handling of prizes.

6. Amendments & Cancellation

Mesmerize Lighting reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without notice, including but not limited to technical issues, fraud, or unforeseen events beyond our control.

7. Privacy

  • Personal data collected will be used solely for administering the competition and marketing communications if consent is provided.

  • Data will be handled in accordance with POPIA and GDPR regulations.

8. Liability

Participants enter the competition at their own risk. Mesmerize Lighting will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from entering the competition or accepting a prize.

9. Acceptance

By submitting an entry, participants accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full and acknowledge that they have read and understood them.
